CurrentNavSiteMapProviderNoEncode lessen learned

Today I have a good lessen around “PortalSiteMapProvider.CurrentNavSiteMapProviderNoEncode”. We have a solution deployed on our intranet with is using mentioned provided to get page structure and create a string containing path from root page up to page title level. This solution was working fine till the time when someone rise a problem for me showing that the page title is not presented any more. This could also be noticed by simply going to the page congaing article and looking at breadcrumb menu which didn’t contain “page title” in it:

I dig around and found that reason for that lays in the navigation settings:

if two above gays are not selected, then you will lose your page title from “PortalSiteMapProvider.CurrentNavSiteMapProviderNoEncode” and probably waste 1day looking around that as I did, 😉

After checking them:

magic happened, 😉
